In de documentaireserie Tina in Sexbierum onderzoekt Tina Farifteh op ontroerende en soms schurende wijze hoe het kan dat we in de samenleving zo ver van elkaar af zijn komen te staan, terwijl we uiteindelijk allemaal hetzelfde verlangen naar een thuis hebben. Samen kijken we naar deze driedelige documentaireserie en gaan we in gesprek met Tina Farifteh en boer Auke, een van de geportretteerden uit de documentaireserie.

Tijdens het Holland Festival presenteer hij zijn voorstelling When I Saw the Sea in Belevu over uitbuiting van migrantenarbeiders onder het Libanese kafala-systeem.Tijdens deze Artist to Artist gaat hij in gesprek met lokale kunstenaars.
