In anticipation of Bad Bunny's upcoming visit to The Netherlands for his world tour, we come together at Felix Meritis to celebrate everything his music moves. From Identity, to culture, resistance, and belonging, Bunny's music echoes far beyond the dancefloor. Whether or not you secured your concert tickets, you are invited to join us for an evening in celebration of Latin culture through music, performance, spoken word, film and - of course - a good perreo to end the night.  

The Holland Festival and Felix Meritis are organising a programme centred on the work of Hildur Guðnadóttir, associate artist of the Holland Festival 2026. Drawing on her sources of inspiration and her own work, Guðnadóttir will speak will with Aafke Romeijn about the breaking down of categorisations, the power of composition and the scope of her collaborations.

How do you continue working when the reality of war finds itself next to your rehearsal space? What is it like to create art amidst destructive forces? And how does the current situation in Lebanon influence the work of Lebanese artists in The Netherlands? During this Artist to Artist, a collaboration between Felix Meritis and Holland Festival, three Lebanese artists discuss these questions and the importance of sharing stories that often remain in the background.

From 12 June until 25 June Felix is home to after a tempest (2026), a satirical short film installation by Alex Raúl. Inspired by writer and postcolonial thinker Aimé Césaire’s play ‘a tempest’ (1969).

Refugee Welcome Week returns to Felix with a second edition. Centered around Radical Hope & Courage, this program explores what future(s) we can build together through art and collective imagination. With talks, performances, workshops and more.

In a time of growing global visibility of Chinese culture and shifting geopolitics, we are in what could be called “a very Chinese time.” On social media, the trend “Chinamaxxing” reflects a surge of interest in Chinese philosophy, aesthetics, and lifestyle. OTION returns to Felix Meritis with the second part of W.A.V.E: We All Vibrate Eternally, an immersive performance series exploring the invisible forces that connect sound, body, and space. Through sound, movement, and ritual storytelling, OTION transforms live music into a fully spatial experience, where sound is not just heard, but physically felt.
