Tula Lezing 2026
Op zaterdag 15 augustus verzorgt Richenel Ansano de keynote tijdens de jaarlijkse Tula Lezing, georganiseerd door het NiNsee en het Herdenkingscomité Slavernijverleden. De lezing brengt actuele vragen over vrijheid, identiteit, historisch bewustzijn en maatschappelijke rechtvaardigheid in gesprek met de doorwerking van het slavernijverleden in het heden.

De Witte Man: Première
Tijdens de première van de driedelige documentaireserie De Witte Man onderzoekt Qian van Binsbergen de witte man als dominante soort in een veranderend maatschappelijk ecosysteem. Via een groep Jannen, wetenschappers, makers, activisten en mannen uit de manosphere kijkt ze naar macht, mannelijkheid, witheid, angst en radicalisering.

After a sold-out edition, we’re back with another edition of our high-energy concept YƐ BƆ NWOM (“We Play Music” in Twi). Known for our DJ battles featuring some of the finest DJs from the scene, YƐ BƆ NWOM returns with a night packed with the best Afrobeat, Amapiano, and R&B tunes, games and much more. This one is for the 80’s babies, 90’s kids and the 2000’s generation, designed for people who want more than “just another night out.”

Following their debut collection during Amsterdam Fashion Week, ULKUHANBATUHAN presents a public program developed in collaboration with Felix Meritis. This event consists of an exhibition and talk that opens Mens, erger je niet. from the inside out. Inspired by the structure of the familiar board game, the project examines how everyday frustrations gradually reveal the larger structures that shape how we move, adapt and relate to one another.

Pig Feast: Beyond the Frame
Critical conversations on solidarity with indigenous resistance
An evening of documentary film and conversation exploring colonialism, environmental destruction and Indigenous resistance in West Papua. Featuring selected scenes from Pesta Babi: Kolonialisme di Zaman Kita (Pig Feast: Colonialism in Our Time), followed by a conversation with the filmmakers, independent journalists and human rights defenders.
