Word een liefdevolle plantouder! PLANTMOM, de hortus-sensatie uit NYC, leert ons in een online workshop de basics van plantenzorg en -liefde.

Dit jaar zijn we plots allemaal huismoeders en vaders, met of zonder kids. Onze plantenvrienden in huis zijn onze quarantaine buddies geworden en onze zorgenkindjes. Staren die gele bladeren je ook de hele dag aan? Of wil je meer planten in huis, maar zijn je vingers nog niet zo groen?

Op 14 april zal PLANTMOM Monai McCullough je alles leren over het onderhouden van kamerplanten. Monai is een gepassioneerde horticulturist uit NYC en oprichter van PLANTMOM. Dit is een Amsterdam’s bedrijf in plantontwerp en -onderhoud. Daarnaast is zij eigenaar van Planthood, een boetiek-plantenwinkel in De Baarsjes in Amsterdam. PLANTMOM’s missie is om mensen in beter contact te brengen met planten door middel van coaching, ontwerp, zorg, sourcing en het geven van workshops.

Tijdens deze online workshop leren we de basics van het onderhouden van kamerplanten en hoe het veranderen van je perspectief op planten je een betere plantouder kan maken. Brandende plantvragen? Dit is het moment!

Een ticket voor de livestream is 5 euro, maar je kunt er ook een speciaal door Monai geselecteerd pakket bij kopen van 1 plant, 1 pot, en aarde; alles wat je nodig hebt voor bij de workshop. Bestel deze uiterlijk op 8 april en haal de plant af bij Planthood op 10 of 11 april tussen 12:00 en 14:00.

De workshop zal worden gegeven in het Engels.

Become a loving plantparent! PLANTMOM, de hortus sensation from NYC, teachus us the basics of plant care and love in an online workshop.

This year, we’ve all become housemoms and dads, with or without children. Our plant friends at home have become our quarantine buddies and our problem children. Are those yellow leaves staring you in the face all day? Or would you like more plants, but lacking the green fingers?

On the 14the of April, 2021, PLANTMOM Monai McCullough will teach you everything you need to know about indoor houseplants. Monai is a passionate horticulturist from NYC and founder of PLANTMOM. This is an Amsterdam plant design and maintenance company, and Planthood, a small boutique plant store in Amsterdam, De Baarsjes. PLANTMOM’s mission is to help connect people with plants through coaching, design, maintenance, sourcing, and workshops.

During this workshop we will learn the basics of plant care, and how changing your perspective on plants can make you a better plant parent. Burning questions? Now’s the time!

A ticket for the livestream is 5 euros, but you can also purchase a package, designed by Monai for the occassion, containing a plant, a pot and dirt; a great kit to start the workshop with. Order this package on the 8th of April latest and pick it up on the 10th or 11th of April at Planthood between 12PM and 2PM.
