Restaurant Felix owes its name to the beautiful building in which it resides: Felix Meritis. This remarkable building on the Keizersgracht was opened in 1788 by an institute of 40 scientists, artists, entrepreneurs, and intellectuals. This home for the curious mind was a hub for creativity, ideas and crosspollination. With this rich past at its foundation, Restaurant Felix explores the culinary awareness of the future.
Restaurant Felix isn’t afraid to experiment. Curious culinary minds are rewarded with the New Dutch Cuisine of tomorrow. Familiar and classic Dutch products are reinvented by the chefs.
